- October 19, 2006- GeoGreen Fuels Recieves EPA Certificate
As part of the certification process involved in the biodiesel industry, GeoGreen Fuels, recieved their EPA certificate stating their B-100 fuel was tested by an EPA approved lab and is in compliance and meets all ASTM 6751 criteria. Therefore, the process used by GeoGreen Fuels will successfully produce spec biodiesel fuel to be used in any diesel combustion engine.
- October 12, 2006- GeoGreen Fuels Ribbon Cuttting Ceremony
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held October 12, 2006 to celebrate the completion of the GGF Gonzales Biodiesel plant in Gonzales, TX. This plant represents the first of several plants being bulit by Fuel Development Company throughout Texas and the U.S.
- July 18, 2006- Official Gonzales Groundbreaking Ceremony
Although construction of the Gonzales biodiesel facility began back in May, the official ground breaking ceremony took place on Tuesday July 18th. Present at the ceremony were representatives from the City of Gonzales, including Mayor Bobby O' Neal, City Manager- Buddy Drake, and several key Gonzales city council members and local business associates. Regional and local newspapers and newscrews, including KENS5 in San Antonio, were also present to deliver coverage of the event throughout Southern and Central Texas.
- June 19, 2006- Gonzales Plant Manager Hired
GeoGreen Fuels has selected Dustin Blumenthal, of Las Vegas, NV as the new Plant Manager for the Gonzales, TX refinery. Mr. Blumenthal will begin working with GeoGreen in July and will help oversee the final phases of construction in Gonzales.
- May 15, 2006- Gonzales Construction Begins
After a long delay of land location and negotiation GeoGreen Fuels began construction of the 3 million gallon/year facility in Gonzales, TX. Strategically located in the Industrial Park of Gonzales, the GGF biodiesel refinery will be constructed using almost all local contractors and suppliers.
- February 15-16, 2006- GeoGreen Fuels, LLC is co-sponsor for the Central Texas Clean Cities Conference in Austin, TX
February 15-16, 2006- With over 200 people in attendance for a conference targeted at end-users of ethanol and biodiesel, GeoGreen Fuels, helped educated consumers about the advantages of using biodiesel. Click here for more information.
