Gonzales Biodiesel Refinery Capacity: 3 million gallons/year Construction: April 2006 - October 2006 Process Line: Continuous Flow - Closed System - Waterless Feedstock:  Soy, Cotton, and Animal Fats   The Technology GeoGreen Fuels selected a continuous-flow, waterless technology for the Gonzales Biodiesel plant.  This technolgy uses an innovative ion-exchange process that eliminates the need for water washing and waste water stream, eliminating potential environmental issues. This is the same technology and biodiesel process that has proven very successful over several years of operation throughout Europe. The process has a multi-feedstock capability with continuous flow and has a fully automated computer interface.  All operations can be programmed and perfrommed from the PC with a graphic on-screen representation of the system including tank levels, flow control, pump operation, and so forth.  All processes are computer monitored including dosing levels and path clearance.
